Hotel Management, Glasgow College of Technology

After progressively senior roles with Commonwealth Holiday Inns of Canada (CHIC), Bass and the Crest Hotels, Forte and the Hilton Group, Stuart joined Queens Moat Houses plc in 2001. The company operated over 100 hotels in the U.K., Holland and Germany. In 2003, he became Group Chief Executive and managed the sale of Queens Moat Houses to Whitehall, a Goldman Sachs fund, in 2004.

After assisting the LRG (Lehman Brothers, GIC and Realstar) consortium in its successful bid for the U.K. properties of InterContinental Hotels Group, Stuart joined Realstar as president of its International Asset Management Group.
