About Hedayat
Hedayat is responsible for Realstar's financing platform and for the capital structure that underpins the firm's investment activity. He sets financing strategy, manages Realstar's lender relationships across property-level and corporate debt.
Hedayat joined Realstar in 2017 and was appointed Senior Vice President in 2022. Prior to Realstar, he spent nine years at CIBC Capital Markets in Real Estate Corporate Banking, most recently as Executive Director, where he structured senior debt, M&A financing and structured credit solutions for institutional real estate clients, closing more than $7 billion of financing transactions across Canada.
Hedayat holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Toronto.
